Shockwave Therapy: Also known as Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT), this non-invasive treatment uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate healing in muscles, tendons, and bones. Originally developed for kidney stones, shockwave therapy is now widely used to treat plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, tennis elbow, and shoulder pain.
Our specialized approach promotes blood flow and tissue regeneration with customizable sessions to address each patient’s unique pain levels and recovery goals. Dr. Jabeen Jussa personally evaluates each patient to determine if shockwave therapy is the best option based on individual needs.
Contraindications for Shockwave Therapy:

Blood clotting disorders or anticoagulant use
Known tumors or cancerous areas
Open wounds or infections
Nerve disorders (e.g., neuropathy)
Implanted devices or any metal in the area of treatment(e.g., pacemaker)

We assess each patient to ensure shockwave therapy is safe and appropriate. Contact us with questions or to determine if you’re a suitable candidate.
